About Us

Why choose Middlebury Animal Hospital?

We offer a range of services including routine preventative care, medical, surgical, dental and behavioral care. We have our own laboratory and can provide rapid blood and urine screening for your pet. We provide both dental and general radiography and maintain a good relationship with specialists in the area for treatment of more complicated problems. Dr. Doran has a special interest in exotic species including rabbits, “pocket pets”, and ferrets. Scorpions, you’re on your own.

Your pet is important to you. You should be able to count on superior care and excellent service. Our team is focused on bringing you the best possible healthcare for your pet. Our facility is clean, comfortable and efficient. Give us a ring at 802-388-2691 to schedule an appointment. We will do our best to find a day and time that works best for you.

We recommend annual visits for all pets, even if they are not due for vaccination or other routine care. Pets are living longer and longer and some problems may be missed by owners in their early stages. We call this preventative care: identifying a problem before it becomes too entrenched and more difficult and expensive to treat. Regular visits allow us to monitor your pet’s weight and behavior, evaluate dental issues and provide guidance and recommendations for care going forward. We all want to live to a ripe old age.

Payments

Middlebury Animal Hospital accepts payment via cash, check, MasterCard, Visa, or CareCredit. So that we can continue to provide you high-quality service utilizing the best medical technologies, we request that payment is made at the time services are rendered.

We provide estimates for all surgeries and hospitalizations. If you have not received an estimate, you are welcome to request one at any time for your expected charges.
